Hi, I’m Leena - a photographer and videographer based in Toronto. I aim to document the beauty of every day life, whether that be events such as weddings and engagements, or moments with friends and family. I specialize in both analogue and digital photography as well as short form video.

My interest in photography was sparked a few years ago when looking through some old family photos. Looking through those pictures allowed me to see what every day life was like for my family in Morocco in the 60s and 70s - giving me an insight into a world I would otherwise not know anything about. I believe photography and videography is an important way to preserve history - even for what may seem mundane.

I started doing film photography to record moments with my friends and family - eventually I started shooting street photography as well. I developed an interest in event photography after shooting my brother’s engagement and wedding photos, which you can see highlighted in my portfolio.
